Roots is the campus newspaper for UW-Barron County that is organized, written, and produced by students for the campus community.

Each year, student editors lead a staff of student writers, photographers, and designers enrolled in COM 104, Applied Journalism. Students not enrolled in COM 104 are also encouraged to write articles for Roots, submit photos, or get involved at any time. Submissions to Roots are actively solicited. You can submit articles to
