Summer in Wisconsin is about taking advantage of everything our great state has to offer. You can work a summer job, spend time with friends and family; and still get ahead by taking one of the courses offered during Summer Sessions at UW-Eau Claire – Barron County.
Who should take a summer class?
Whether you're a current UW-Eau Claire – Barron County student working to get ahead, or home on break looking to pick up a class, register today to make the most of your summer!
What is offered?
- Courses ranging from one week to eight weeks (May 26 - August 7, 2020)
- Easy credit transfers
- You can take the equivalent of one credit per week, so you could accumulate as many as 11 credits this summer.
How do I register for summer session?
Registration begins March 1. Current students should register for the summer term in MyBlugold CampS.
Students not currently attending UW-Eau Claire – Barron County should apply as a special student (no fee required). For more information about admissions, advising and registration for Summer Sessions courses, call the Solution Center at 715-788-6244.
Note: Financial aid cannot be used to pay for courses if you're enrolled as a special student.

Financial Aid for summer
New students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Admitted, degree-seeking students may be eligible for summer financial aid. Summer aid is based on the 2019-2020 FAFSA, so you must have submitted this to be eligible. If you would like to be considered for possible financial aid resources for summer, we would recommend that you apply as soon as possible. Log into MyBlugold CampS; go to Self Service > Student Center and then click on the "Summer Aid Application" link under Financial Aid. Complete information is available at Blugold Central.
