The Tindells will present “Adventure Travel With Sue & Dave” from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Blue Hills Lecture Hall in Ritzinger Hall. The presentation also will be livestreamed at ricelaketv.com.

With travels spanning more than three dozen countries on six continents, the Tindells have experienced many adventures together. Their most memorable trips include East Africa in 2024 and Antarctica earlier this year.

The couple will share stories and photos of their trips, including their climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, experience on an African safari and exploration of Patagonia and the ice continent.

The Tindells met on Dave’s show on WJMC Radio in 1991. They married in 1995 and began traveling the world together. Sue has worked in the travel industry for more than 41 years while Dave writes novels and still appears on the air for WJMC Radio.

The Thursdays at the U weekly series is free and open to the public thanks to support from the UW-Eau Claire – Barron County Foundation. Neither seating reservations nor parking permits are needed for in-person attendees.

While in-person attendance is encouraged, most presentations in the series are livestreamed and archived on the Thursdays at the U webpage.

The next program in the series will be March 5, with Emily Cole presenting “Bats of Wisconsin.”
