Touring a college is the best way to see if it's the right fit for you. During all visits you can meet with UW-Eau Claire – Barron County experts and take a guided campus tour.
Choose the visit type that works for you
We offer several types of visits, so you can find one that fits your schedule! Use the buttons below each description to register.
1. Explore UWEC – Barron County Visit Days
Explore UWEC – Barron County visit days are held on the first Friday of each month at 2 p.m. These visit days give you an in-depth view of campus and interaction with faculty and current students. At one of these visit days you will:
- Experience a campus tour.
- Meet professors, current students, parents and alumni.
- Learn about our affordable tuition and opportunities for financial aid.
- Ask questions about our guaranteed credit transfer.
- Learn about student life and your ability to get involved with sports, music, theater, student clubs and more!
2. Preview Days
We offer one Preview Day in the fall and one in the spring. Preview Days are more in-depth visits that include everything an Explore UWEC – Barron County visit day offers, PLUS the opportunity to attend a sample class and a breakout session for parents.
Our Fall Preview Day will be Monday, November 4, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
3. Weekday Visits
These visits consist of a tour that takes about 45-60 minutes and lets you ask questions on a one-on-one basis. When you register for a weekday visit, you tell us the dates and times you are available and we will do our best to schedule your visit at that time.
4. Group Visits
Are you a high school group, student access group or an organization with more than six people? Then group visits are for you! Please register and we will contact you to organize your group visit.
This year we have a couple of special events happening this fall!
