Open to the public, the library offers more than just a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can explore a diverse collection of materials, including fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, and DVDs. Books are available for a four-week checkout period, while DVDs may be borrowed for two weeks.
The library also provides guest Wi-Fi and access to public computers not currently in use by students. Library staff are available to assist with login credentials and general support.
Through the BCVP Community Library Program, residents donating to the Student Scholarship Program and ECBV Library can choose from two additional library card tiers: Blue Card or Gold Card. Blue Card and Gold Card members will have access to ECBC Library Makerspace and Informational Workshops offered throughout the year.
Workshops may include hands-on projects using 3D printers, sewing machines, Cricut machines, creative crafts, and informational workshop sessions—all designed to inspire learning and creativity.
Whether you're diving into a new novel, conducting research, or simply seeking a calm place to focus, the UW-Eau Claire – Barron County Library welcomes you to make the most of its offerings.
